Strange Fire Revisited led by Rod Perkins
Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the 24-7 Prayer Room

In 2013, the Grace To You ministry held a conference called "Strange Fire," the goal of which was 1) to evaluate "the doctrines, claims, and practices of the modern charismatic movement," and 2) to affirm "the true Person and ministry of the Holy Spirit." (See https://www.gty.org/library/strangefire). Four years later, our small group will revisit that conference by listening to some of the sessions, and by reading some of the book entitled Strange Fire, which was written by John MacArthur and released at the time of the conference. Copies of Strange Fire are available from Amazon.com for about $10.

Raising a Modern Christian Family led by Dan Head
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary

Are you looking for a small group where you can meet together with other parents to discuss biblical parenting? This is a small group geared towards helping us in our Godly parenting practices. There will be plenty of time for open discussion.  Material will be provided. Please bring your Bible.

Revelation 13-22: End-Times, Part 2 led by Rich Phillips
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 222/224

Join Rich & Doris as they study the prophecies from the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The only book of the Bible with a specific “blessing” for the

“hearing” & “keeping” of its words. What is Jesus saying to His Church? What is His Revelation and why is He revealing this to the Church? How do I respond in the "keeping" of this revelation? Bring a Bible and an open heart to the Word of God in the book of Revelation. Part 1 (Rev. 4-12) was completed in the Fall of 2017.

How to Develop and Deliver a Biblical Message led by Pastor Brian
Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. in Room 236

Study the book of James with us and learn how to develop and deliver a biblical message. This is open to men and women age 13 and older.

Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis led by Jimmy Arnold
Thursdays at 8:30 p.m in Room 236

This semester the Young Adult Ministry will be reading and discussing Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. Cited as a foundation book by many pastors and theologians, Lewis addresses core Christian beliefs in his unique style. This small group will be geared towards applying fundamental truths in the lives of young adults (people in their late teens and twenties), but all ages are welcome to sign up. Group members will need a copy of Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.

Marriage Conversations A with Paula Smith. Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary

We all know something about marriage through God’s Word, God’s leading and our own personal study and experiences. Let’s meet to share what we’ve learned, bring questions we’d like to discuss, and share perspectives and insights. This is a long-term small group with a rotating discussion starter where peers purposefully lift one another up with the goal of being wives that increasingly reflect Christ.

Marriage Conversations B with Melanie Johnson. Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary
