If you’re following the schedule, you should read these chapters today: Genesis 32, Mark 3, Esther 8, Romans 3. Click on any of those references to see all the passages in one long page on BibleGateway. If you can't do all the readings today, read Romans 3.
Romans 3 explains that Jews and Gentiles alike can be declared righteous through the sacrifice of Christ. When anyone believes that Jesus died for their sins, that person is justified by fatih (vv. 23-25). Verse 26 says that saves people this way “so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.” How does Christ’s death on the cross satisfy God’s justice while still allowing for sinners to be justified?
