- Verse 10 says that “it was fitting that God... should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect....” Who is the “pioneer” in this verse? How do you know?
- What does calling him the “pioneer” suggest?
- In what way did God need to “make the pioneer.... perfect?”
- Does this imply that he was imperfect? If so, in what way(s)?
- What possible meanings can you think of for the word “perfect”?
