Calvary Bible Church is a non-denominational church with a high view of the Bible as God's written revelation to man. Our ministry is centered upon Jesus Christ as the Head of the church. We believe in the death of Christ on the cross for the sins of humanity, His burial, His bodily resurrection from the grave, and His ascension to Heaven where He is now enthroned at the right hand of God the Father. We believe that persons must place faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation from sin. We also believe that Jesus will come a second time to redeem His children and to set up His earthly kingdom.
Calvary Bible Church seeks to fulfill the five primary responsibilities of
the Christian church as laid out in the New Testament:
(1.) Evangelism: sharing the love of Christ with
unbelievers;
(2.) Discipleship: personal growth in Christ for believers
through instruction from the Word of God;
(3.) Worship: personal engagement with Christ in corporate
and personal worship;
(4.) Fellowship: vital loving and friendly relationships with
other believers; and
(5.) Service: significant, loving ministry to believers and
unbelievers.
